We’ve been in love with them for a very long time. So much so, that, nearly a decade ago, we had this idea about how to make them even better. Our novel idea?
To find out exactly what was on that delicious plate of everything that we were eating.
That’s why we started FoodCalc. We wanted restaurants, and the people who frequented them, to know exactly what was on their plate. We call it "Nutrition Insight."
With our roots (and hearts) in the restaurant business, today we advise over 5,000 eateries on the nutritional content of their menus. This experience, and thousands of calls and visits with our restaurant partners, taught us something else: good food means good business.
Customers are clamoring for healthier options and more item choices. Choices. And they are willing to frequent restaurants that are serious about offering healthy options to their customers. And that simple step can prove to be a profitable turn of events for the restaurant operator who listens. Then acts.
